i recommend that if you had other things installed over the game, if you have original game i suggest you backup your exe file and restore it when you go online, inside kitserver folder there is manager.exe, run it and select detach, attache it again when you play offline

im sure now there is something wrong with the online switch, ppl reported that they managed to play online only when detaching kitserver (some had to use old exe), the patch offline is perfect, but the online thing need to be optimized i admit

if u want to keep your modifs then you have to backup the modified files like edit.bin, but note that this will make the update not complete in your game (new players, modified stats, ext..)
