    No need to install any software in your PC, the max drive acts like a regular flash drive in your PC, about the disc error, if you have your ps2 in vertical position try moving it to horizontal or viceversa, while the disc is loading, sometimes those max drive discs are a lil bit tricky.

    Put it at my doucuments, konami, pro evolution soccer 6, save, folder 1. You need to move the OF you have there to another place, and replace it with the one you downloaded. Hope this helps. Any questions just ask.
