the fast fix corrects things roughly, but it will be fixed soon, i am collecting data to update with a 2.1 ill take a look it should not crash, but i agree about the stability issue, i will work on that for the 2.1

is updated, but i think some teams needs to be revised (starting 11) did you install the fast fix? this means something is not done correctly, be sure to install as the readme instruct, and BE SURE that you do not apply any downloaded data when starting the game

if you fail to locate the download content, here is a trick: after starting the game, (while the game is running) copy the save files in the save folder then go to edit in the game and choose load file, if it loads correctly you are good to go.

i dont know exactly the location, search for a (download) folder in documents and settings, it is there somewhere.

aha,, there is your problem, when you apply the download the save files are overwritten, do not apply, i do strongly recommend deleting the update files (should be located in a download folder somewhere in documents and settings)

the problem you have is strange, i am sure there is something not done correctly, if you had another patch before, be sure that you have deleted the old kitserver before installing the one from the patch. and be sure the files from the save folder are copied in the save folder of the game. and...

the 1.6 had some bugs, it had a fix 1.6.1 which fixes some problems like wolfsburg, but i strongly recommend having the 1.7.5 because its the latest for pes 2009 Read the first post at this thread to know the change log between versions.
