about the 2pt, im aware of that, its a hex bug, ill tried rehexing the file responsible of that with no luck so far, this is cause of adding a lot of players to the game, i hope ill find solution for that before releasing the 1.7

i donno what happened wrong, but the patch should not crash, be sure that u followed all the steps carefully, alternatively, uninstall everything then delete all pes folders then install again with default directories then apply the patch then the update (no need for konami upgrades)

did you install the update 1.6.1? it is clear, kitserver folder should be in the correct place, and the setup.exe inside that folder should be point to the game exe and installed

kitserver is not working, you cant get the patch to work if it kitserver is not properly working. reinstalling directX should solve your problem.
