Do ML teams ever attempt to sign created players?

I hate the boots in the game. Why have they put the Supernova, boring and ugly, the gunmetals, they're OK but I don't think they're brilliant. and the black and red preds, they are the worst of the preds. Why couldn't they have put the red ones and my favourite the champagnes.

It says in the manual that by pressing R2 when your opponent makes a tackle you can jump over the tackle. What does this mean? and does it actually work?

I hate free kicks. whenever I'm in training mode I can score from just about anywhere inside the centre and from inside 30 yards on my first or second attempt. But when I try free kicks from that range in a game it either hits the wall or does a Lorenzo Amoruso.
