erm you can use any usb cable

make a folder on your usb called ps3, then make one inside that called savedata and put your file in there. oncethe usb is in your ps3 go to saves and your ps3 should see the usb. after that just copy the file over to your ps3. hope that helps

my attempts over the first few days were crap as well until i tried it with all the lights on. make sure there is plenty of light on your face and no shadows or you get left with a big dark circle right in the middle of your face
