Right let me try and clear this up once and for all. On a patched game you can get(depending on the patch) better kits(most of the time) than an option file, more ad-boards, different in game music, better chants, different in-game backgrounds, team call names etc etc. But an option file...

Ive just downloaded the PES Fan V2 Option file and was wondering what patches are compatible with it....i want to use the [PES5] PS2 Nest 4 V1 Patch & Add Maximo Chants & 100% patch but want to know if it is compatible....also if I want to use the patched kits instead of the Option file ones do...

I know this is incredibly lazy but I hate fiddling around with option files and patches etc etc but I seen a guy on a certain website selling memory cards with the option files updated but was told by someone on this site that a patch is much better cause you get the crowd chants, in game music...

Just wanted to know what you guys think is the best and most up to date patch??....I see so many I get confused....I want one that has all the team names, kits, badges, flags, player names, transfers, stadium names, ad-boards, in game music etc etc etc. I heard about one called the superpatch...

Dont know if this has been said before but there is a guy on E-bay who sells an 8mb memory card with a pro evo option file on it with the updated kits, boots, transfers etc for £13.98 delivered, also, you can send him your memory card and he will copy the files to it for £3 and deliver it back...

Gotta agree...Mascherano is class.....but a thing i do a lot is (because I use Ronaldinho as an attacking midfielder in a 4-4-2 diamond formation) use Beckham (or someone with real good passing skills) in a DMF position....a good tackle and pin point pass and im on my way...try it guys, it is...

The last patch i had on PES 4 (cant remember if it was the Wolf Furry or Ultimate patch I had, probably Wolf Furry) but the audio was pretty good, so I think this patch should be quite good for audio too (fingers firmly crossed)

I like Ronaldinho cause his run up takes a little longer giving you time to tweak the power and dip etc.....gotta disagree though, I score stupid amounts with Beckham.

pros:better animations, better striking of the ball, harder. cons:free-kicks are WAY too easy (i scored five out of five on my first go on the demo!!)...also, like the guy said earlier the shooting from distance is too easy aswell....other than that a real good improvement.

there is quite a few transfers missing....Kanoute to Seville, Rochembach to Middlesbrough, Bentley To Blackburn (Loan), Baros to Villa etc etc...I wonder if I could transfer all my data from PES 4 to PES 5 (on the PC format) cause I have stayed real up to date on the transfer front. Better...

On the home page of this site....I have played it now and had to get used of the passing but there is a lot more to do goal wise...for example, the vollys are better and the long shots connect better.....cant wait to play the finished version.
