Nothing you can do about the game being easier or the patch doing nothing. But the other problems you have are related to the graphics card. Your game is in low detail, that's why you have no crowd and the pitch lacks detail.

Yeah, you can kick it that way to the keeper's corner when the FK is <20 metres. Once you get a hang on the amount of power you have to give it, the keeper just can't get it. And no wall to stop it!

In earlier versions, you could assign a key to right analog stick, another to left analog stick, etc. Can't you do it anymore? If you can't assign them, you won't be able to do the tricks that involve them in the first place, so buy a game pad. I did, and never looked back. It may take a while...

That still beats the commentary in the PES 2008, where teams are losing 3-0 at 75 minutes, you score the fourth and they say that you "look like getting away with it now", or that the fourth goal might have clinched it for your team...

You seem to have gotten hold of most of the iconic (best?) players in the game! If you want to make it more balanced, you should lend some of those to your brother. You seem to prefer fast and skillful strikers. They are also very good at scoring, but I seem to have more luck hitting the net...

Don't underestimate Jerome, he was my top scorer and a hell of a striker. A tank but (relatively) fast and can score from anywhere.

I agree that PES belongs to sony's console (I even have a PS controller to play it on PC), but it was the PS1! Heretic! :D

Agree! PES 3 was better, I think, but PES 5 brought me to an all-time high as a player. I was really good at it, producing marvellous plays. Therefore, it was more enjoyable. In that respect, PES 6 and I never got along really well. I felt it was less intuitive.
