Have no idea mate. You're saying it's happen to you with other OF. I think maybe your USB stick not formatted with FAT32. You should try it and see. If not, make sure that the files you download are located in the "SAVEDATA" directory which should be under "PS3" directory...

Thanks bro. When I release my OF update you'll have to copy everything from the start. You'll need to delete the files you copied earlier as I changed everything. But, on the next upcoming updates all you have to copy is the new files, not everything.
