Jonah Lomu was good but I felt a little arcadey? Rugby 2002 (I think?) was good in my opinion but again could be a little arcadey too. I'm all for simulation like PES for sports but I think the prob is is that rugby is very difficult to reproduce (well) without going down the Madden road.

Speaking of individual stuff... PES2 did some weird stuff. I left it running for ages whilst I was doing my xls for "rebus". Then when I went to play him I saw a few anims for goals that I hadn't seen b4 and heard some new commentary too! Can't remember any of it but I was pleasantly surprised...

He's not great is he... considering he is perhaps the best player in the world! It's fair that he can get muscled off the ball quite easily but he usually doesn't as he avoids people with his skill. Similarly, Roy Keane seems to get muscled off quite easily when he shouldn't for his strength...

U would hope that they would say...ok we don't have the licence to do names and we know that everyone changes the names or uses a patch. So our downloads identifies the player but only updates the stats and adds new players. Otherwise we'll all be playing silly buggers?
