The 20 Gb versions are not going to be the first PS3 consoles released down here. Sony have already announced that the first batch of PS3 consoles being sold in Europe will be the 60 Gb versions. If you want the 20 Gb version, you shall have to wait a little longer - probably around 6 months...

You forgot about DVD Region X. ;) It's basically used in the same way as Swap Magic except with Swap Magic, you have to open the disc tray without the PS2 knowing about it. At least with DVD Region X, you can eject the tray like normal after the program has loaded and then load your region 1...

There is no known method of hacking the console...yet. I suspect that in the next 12 months, someone will be working on a mod that can allow you to play patched games on a PS3. But until then, you will just have to keep playing the unpatched version of the game. If you can't wait that...

No, this can't be done. Only one option file can be loaded at a single time from a single Memory Card. You could technically put two different option files onto two seperate memory cards (in both memory card ports), then load the first option file on bootup, then later load the second...

Apparently, Mumpleaser has found a way to get a patched version of PES5 to work online. But obviously, you need the original DVD in order to modify the DNAS code for the patched version (which will be on a DVD-R). No idea if the same method can be used for PES6 though. :unsure:
