hey mate i was making the same mitake as well....acctually u need to install the official patch 1.2 first....and then apply sammy's OF ...and u ll b able to see the download option in (system setting)....and yeah make sure u r using the orginal pes CD not the pirated one cz u wont see the...

U r 100% rite dude.....when i played at very first..i felt the same to frustration...and it was not easy to score or control the ball...but now itz addictive...and i lov it:)

No mate sorry u got wrong...im using PES 2009 on my PC and itz way better than PES 08.... i dont know what console u r using but pes09 version is an awsome...especially Become a Legend Mode...itz strange that u r saying itz not as realistic as 08 or something...i doubt u r not a Tru PES fan ..cz...
