It's not just that. WE9I uses a different game code (when compared to PES5). And I severely doubt that the contents of the PES5 DVD is similar to the WE9I DVD. You really should've asked before you started downloading this patch.

PES2 came out mid October 2002 - 11 months after the release of PES1. And yeah, they were coming out annually from this point onwards.

Yeah, I tried the same. I applied the Fernando patch first then used the NTSC to PAL converter to patch to PAL. It didn't work for me. :no:

I noticed that just now aswell. 3 star difficulty is incredibly easy. I suspect it's the product of a secret Konami agenda where they realise that they need to make the game easier to play in order to attract the FIFA fanboys. ;) I agree with you generally though. The difficulty only starts...
