Seriously, handballs have never happened to me before in PES4.
I seem to remember that there were too many handballs in PES3 though. I just assumed that they took out the handball feature in PES4.
I know what you mean.
I've always thought that there were subtle differences between WE7 and PES3, and WE8 and PES4.
It'll probably be the same for PES5 and WE9.
That is so right.
I'm never going to be a big fan of this whole "Final Evolution" and "Liveware Evolution" editions of the same WE game.
Seems a bit of a waste to release 3-4 "tweaked" WE game inside 12 months.
But, I bet Konami's angle is that the loyal WE gamer will still go and buy...
Really? I thought it would be charged.
What about the broadband ISPs - do they charge for PS2/XboX online?
And one final question; which retail shops sell the PS2 Network Adapter?
I was thinking along the same lines but Ivory Coast are already in WE9 which means that they'll definitely be in PES5.
I think it would be pretty straight forward for Konami to create a Ghana national team as most of the Ghanian players are scattered around at European clubs.
Hmm, you're right.
There are usually lots of different versions of the WE games. Which incidentally are all released in the same 12 months.
It's annoying to see "Liveware evolutions" and "Final evolutions" being released months after the original WE game was released.
Too hard to tell the difference, I reckon.
Both games are very similiar.
The only differences that I can tell between WE8 and PES4 are that the speed of the game was faster in PES4 than it was in WE8. Dribbling was easier in PES4.
Obviously, teams like Wolves were present in WE8 but...
Well, I'm not an expert on this but I'm pretty sure you're going to need a PS2 network adapter.
As far as I know, the minimum speed required for PS2 online play is 512k.
Ok, you've got that one.
But, I still don't think Konami are stupid enough to remove Cameroon, Nigeria and Senegal and directly replace them with Angola, Togo and Ghana.
I did use the search button. Thats how I found the PES5 team list. I also typed in "PES4 team list" and it found two pages of irrelevant threads.
This is what I found with both searches:

Firstly, I can't find a PES4 team list.
Secondly, I looked at the PES5 team list and I can honestly say that there are at least a couple of teams that weren't in PES4. I can remember that Ivory Coast and Venezuela definitely weren't in PES4.
I can't see any teams that have been taken out...
I was thinking of getting a network adapter for my PS2 and thinking of connecting it up to my 2 Mb Tiscali ADSL connection.
But, if there's a further charge or subscription fee to play WE9 or PES5 online, then I'll pass, thank you very much.
