Full back is a 'side defender' as you say. Left back meaning he plays LB or left side of the defence. Right back meaning he plays RB or right side of defence.

Another one I forgot to mention Javad Nekounam plays for Osasuna. Completely unknown to me, his stats look average. But he always bosses the midfield against me. Only player I find it really hard to play around. He's a monster... so I sign him. Awful
