Not right now. There's an agent with 24 legends available right now and you have a pretty decent chance of scoring one of them. I bought four agents yesterday with saved-up GP and got Cocu and Kluivert, for example.

Did you check the "Apply player and squad data" box?

You can save your MyClub team data and use it to start a new ML with your MyClub team (including any legends you acquired). You cannot, however, edit or base-copy legends or use them in any other mode. Which means you also can't share them.

Preset faces present in the game have been updated, whether they are base-copied or not. You should have exported old Messi and re-imported him, that should have kept his former appearance.

There appears to the be the same bug in the game now that also creeped into PES 2016 before. Before the update, there was a licensed Izet Hajrovic (FA) and a fake Hajrovic (Bosnia NT). I base-copied the real Hajrovic onto his fake version and swapped both to have the real one in the Bosnia...
