As far as I know there is no mail on a Sunday, on top of that the term dispatch is quite different from the term teleport, it usualy takes a couple of days I would imagine and then It depends on the specific store, the region it is dispatched and so on, therefore Thursday may not be unreasonable...

Don't think the "in stock" quote is a lie, after all games stores wil probably be be stocked up well in advance of the release date, I think its just a case of waiting for someone to release the game before the date, after which everyone will do the same, thats why I don't pre-order, I reckon...

Dont really care who sells the game cheapest, the important thing for me is to get the game as soon as possible, if this means paying £5 more, fair enough, I'm sure pretty much everyone on here would pay £50 to get the game right now.

Anyone know yet If it is possible to play 2 player tournaments i.e. Champions League, what I mean is can you sort the controller settings after the game starts to allow me to control my mates opponents, and vice versa, could't see why they took this out of PES2008, hopefully it's back for 09...

Sounds like a plan, although I reckon somewhere will sell it early, I'll just try every day of next week, Don't think I've ever waited until the Official release date, so hopefully not this year.

Yeah I've seen that one before, It looks promising, I would love some solid screens of someone actually building a badge or a nike logo from scratch, PES6 Style one pixel at a time type thing, Fingers crossed it will be there, cheers for the post though.

PS3 is a lot easier, you can download an option file from your PC to a memory device and put it straight onto your PS3 memory.

Would love to see more South American teams in the game, although it highlights another reason for me why the edit mode should be back to it's old brilliant self, If thats the case I'll definately be making some of these as well as some S.P.L teams of course.

Faces looking very good IMO, Thought they were very good in PES2008, so any sort of improvement is brilliant news, Compared to FIFA I think they are so far ahead comparisons are pretty much void, even the baldy generic other League C players in PES2008 look better than FIFA's half assed attempts.

Anyone know for sure if the pixel editor is a feature of the edit mode in PES2009. I've heard this numerous times from numerous places and I'm inclined to beleive it, but I've yet to see solid proof i.e. screenshots from the edit mode itself, anyone seen these or any other features from edit...

I'll probably just try every day on the week of release, someone always sells it early, happened the last two years, if not then a midnight trip to Asda could be on the cards.

Don't really care what the teams, players and kits are like when I switch the game on, as long as the edit mode is fairly extensive I'll happily fix it up myself.

Very good point, I actually meant to bring up point 2 myself at some stage, think that was one of the most pointless things to take out of the game, makes for a much better tournament if me and a mate are constantly trying to knock each other out of the Konami cup, and makes winning it a lot...

Absolutely agree, Don't know what the big deal is, the only complaint I have about the game is the edit mode (or lack of one) but in terms of gameplay, I think its awesome, still playing it regularly, and will be until PES2009.

Anybody have any info on the other league teams in PES2009, For example can the logo's be edited, Can the teams participate in ML, personally I really hope this is the case as it kind of spoils the ML if you are in the England league and someone like Helsinki gets promoted. Would be a lot...

Dont really care who is the best player/team in PES, anything too unrealistic or in need of a slight touch up can be taken care of in an edit mode session.
