i think the amount of player appearances featured in pes is a rare strong point with pes 08 and the new version will improve on this

the player models do look improved from last year. The game seems a lot more polished and everything looks extremely realistic

i agree with you on the counter attack comment, it can be quite stale but i did like the challenge of fifa when playing with pass and shotting assistance turned off, this does make the game different and physics aloow you to create clever passing sequences. this wont matter when pes is released

cant see konamis logic apart from increasing public demand for the game regarding the pathetic amount of information that is being released. there is no point in trying to create demand though with such a core audience who will buy the game. dont want to bring up this old argument but it cant be helped. pes 08 on ps2 or fifa 08 on 360 are embarrassingly better than next gen pes. I am fully confident pes will once again take over my life again this october, the more i here about the gameplay the more confident i am.

the gameplay is my main concern thats why i traded this years version for the ps2 game. For me the nets make the gameplay even more realistic as much as licensed boots or teams. Regarding the screen shots the pitch seems better but you cant tell much from them

Looks slightly arcadey but i think this is becauase in the video pass assistance is turned on so every pass reaches its target, this makes the game look faster which is not a good thing.

you can see where pro got the idea for the netting from. Those nets are brilliantly realsitic. I actually watched that video three times in awe. For me this is something that has to be improved but i dont think they will see the importance of it.
