Woah people are still replying on this post! I started it. :) PES5 is amazing, still playing it loads and it gets better every time I do. L

I'd like to retract my previous statement. Like the PS2 version I think you have to get used to it all over again. Played it a few times and I like the way that it seems "faster." It's more like an arcade game the way the players run. It is very good and I will be keeping it! G

It's okay, not worth the £30 I paid for i though (hey, im a student!) so I'll be getting a refund methinks. G

Ok, I started this thread so I am entitled to talk more on my progress! I've been playing PES5 for four days now and am still waiting to have "fun" with it. Sometimes its ok, but most of the time I am just switching the PS2 off due to boredom, really I am. This is not good, I dont remember...

Because there was no goalkeeper on the pitch! I was running towards the goal thinking I would have to shoot past a one-on-one with the goalkeeper only to realise there was no goalkeeper! During the replay I sifted through each player (by pressing R1) and could not find him! Anyone else seen...

I have improved already since yesterday, altho I do get frustrated easily! Goals are impressive tho, even the shit ones look good.

Thats unlucky. Not a real loss though, im sure there is a guide somewhere on the internet with all the buttons/moves etc. G

My mates are getting stressed with it too, one player seems easier, but two player isnt as fun as it used to be at the moment. The transition in terms of gameplay is a lot bigger from PES4-PES5 than others I think.

Go to player settings when paused. The press O to toggle between numbers/names etc. G

Yeh, I've noticed this, i reckon it takes a lot of mastering as it mucks up the aiming totally!

Maybe im wrong, but I thought it said something about the R3 button, when doing the training for free kicks. Ah well, maybe not. L

Anyone know how to use it properly, I have noticed some difference in the ben of the ball but have noticed it does not always work! Cheers, L
