a returning pes fan in need of some help


finally returned to pes after a few dissapointing years, but need a little help with two things.
1.) all my shots seem to fly miles over the bar
2.) all my crosses seem to go from one wing right over to the very far side vant get them in centre of penalty area.

any help would be much appreciated thanks

Don't hold the button so long. Seriously.

Also, when crossing don't hold too long and don't hold away from the side you're crossing from. E.G. Don't hold up, while crossing from the left, try holding down even, to get it to the near post.

Shooting is something that takes a while to learn in the new game, based on many factors such as pressure from the AI and body posture. Try pressing the finesse button(RT XBOX) straight after you have inputted how much power you want. Also try knocking the ball slightly ahead of yourself with a double tap of Sprint button to give yourself a run up.

In terms of crossing, if you hold RT when pressing cross button the ball will dip more, you can also try manual crossing with the manual long ball as this gives you more control with the power.

L1 plus cross is early cross btw, and not sure if you recall, but double tap or triple tap for lower trajectory. It's pretty tough to overshoot your cross, even if you are holding up, if you use double tap. Double tap can be more effective anyway.

also when the ball is in the air your play turns into a statue and doesnt move, from a goal kick for example is there any way you can make him move
