action replay pes4

i was wondering if there will be a action raplay disc available for pes4 cos i want the real player names and team names and if so where can i get it.Is it worth pre ordering a copy of pes4 in case the unlikely happens and they run out of stock

To get real player names and team names, you should get an X-Port or a Max Drive. Both are available from amazon.com or play.com. And they can be used for any and all PS2 game saves so you can update your game with the latest option file whenever you want, for free.

I have got an X-Port however I am interested in making my own team over the equivalent of PES United in PES4, and I know that with my X-Port file for PES3 i couldn't modify players in a team i.e. change say Luzhny to Reyes in the Arsenal team and could only change players looks etc. So will this be the same or is it worth getting the Action Replay disc and maybe having one option file with the Action Replay disc for the created team and one X-Port option file for everything else?

Does your playstation 2 have 2 be chipped for the X-Port? I know I'm probably posting in the wrong thread here but how does it work? How do u get option files onto this X-Port thing?

X-Port and Max Drive will work on ANY and EVERY PS2. No mods needed.

X-Port and Max Drive are methods to transfer the option (or replay etc) files from your PC to your memory card using the PS2 and PC USB slots. And transferring data the other way too, so you can store all of your goal replays on your PC to save space on your mem card.

Check both amazon.com and play.com and go with whichever you prefer.
Max Drive is 9.99 from play.com. Make sure you get the right version.

sorry to be a pain in the ass posting in the wrong thread but which is the right max drive? blue or green? And what's your recommendation out of Xport and Maxdrive?

EDIT: OK so I'm being really thick 2night... The green is Xbox and Blue is PS2 lol...

Depends which you will be using more. I don't know what kind of option files will be available for the XBOX yet. Or which ones you would be able to use for xbox online. PS2 is a good option as we all know about that one. Or you could wait a bit. Or get both if you can afford it.

I mean which one would you recommend out of X-Port and MAX-Drive? I don't have an X-Box. I edited my last post so I've probably confused u a little so I'm sorry about that

It's probably better to get a Max Drive as it is wireless and easier to use. I will get one soon too.
