Any news on Winning Eleven 9 being backward compatible?

I know I've been placing several posts regarding this, and I also realize that no one really knows, but if anyone finds out that Winning Eleven 9 will be backwards compatible on the Xbox 360 in the US, please let me know. I know it is in Europe as PES5, so I would think it would be. Has anybody heard anything? I sent an e-mail to mircosoft and Konami in hopes of finding out, but I haven't heard anything back.

I have about the same information as you, Charlie. I know for a fact that PES5 is B/C, so I am assuming that WE9 will be as well.

A real surprise you haven't heard back from MS or Konami...do you detect the sarcasm? So much for customer support!

I am SO HOPING that it is back-ward compatible , otherwise I Will not get or sell my xbox 360 (if I buy it before Feb7)

Good luck to you, I can't find a damn 360. Unless I am willing to pay $100-$500 over MSRP.

Once WE9 drops, it will hold off my desire for 360. Which will be a blessing, maybe we will get a price drop when the PS3 drops :innocent:
