Just wondering. I have now spent 50 minutes trying to play, port settings are correct 5739, I can log in see match rooms but get no luck in getting a game. It just tells me 'can't obtain users information' or 'an error, 'failed to connect to opponent'.

I cant find no help on Konomi site and nothing in the instruction leaflet or further guidence in the book I bought for a tenner.

Has any PC user been and played online and if so how did you manage it?

Yes I played a game online last night. I just entered a ranked room and challenged the host to play.

I have to say though it was almost impossible to play due to lag. There is a symbol on the top center of the screen which I take it is the users ping, and it was rocketing to over 2000 from a starting point of 20.

Now I know its not my system or internet as both are more than fast enough (X2 4000 / 2gb ram / 7900GS 256 on a 4mb cable connection) to play , so either the person I played was on a PS2 with a very shadey internet connection or the network is borked atm and in need of fixing (more likely due to a message in the online lobby).

i played online last night, pretty laggy.
in settings before you boot up go to online, next to controller settings and uncheck auto port, that worked for me.

horribly laggy in most games. sometimes matches start off fine, but you can learn to cope with the lag with your reading of the game. I installed the patch released by konami but dont notice any difference with performance...

I heard a few words getting thrown about, such as unplayable, lag and disconnected, things like that.

All n all makes of a great year.

Same problem here, 45 min tryed 2 get a game online and never played 1 game........errors and disconnects........don't knowe what 2 do! o yes i know,play pes6 and have fun with my m8 playing 2v2.

it really is a joke when u can play graphics intensive games like COD online flawlessly online, evo is small fish compared really. bring back the direct ip connect mode. I used to be able to play pes5 fine on the pc with a launcher "pes4online" dont think any of u guys would remember that? lol
