u start in div 3 for example, play 40 odd games with F.A cup and league cup against every side in england then u buy players,FOR REAL MONEY!!!

the u get promoted or relegated and can lead your fav team to the prem.

5 seasons is enough for me.

anyway i preffered the pes2 master league.
they should of just added to that.

I will be getting it shortly, I hope. I havent read thru this thread to know what people think of it... well, what do people think of it?

If I would have to rate i would give it 6- 6,5 out of 10.
Nice graphics, some cool elements like mud on the shirts etc., good chants, but still weak gameplay compared to PES3, there are always the same ways to score goals.
You cannot make your own tournament like in PES3, so you cannot play a nice little cup with 4 teams when you have 3 friends with you. Champions League is only available in career mode what is quite annoying IMO.
And what Giggsy said is with the real money sounds good, but it isn´t. It´s very unrealistic, and that makes this feature annoying. My friend played with Bayern, sold Scholl and Jeremies and could afford players like Vieri, Beckham, Raul, Nesta and Figo. LOL. It´s impossible in real life that Bayern buys this players coz they haven´t that much money. From what I´ve heard you can even buy this players without any problems if you´re in 2nd division.

now looking at the above if were all being honest the fifa career is for more realistic

and the pes3 money is unrealistic cos you you use points not money and alot of ppl end up with a world class squad at the end of it.

btw i DO think pes3 is better but i have never been keen on the new master league.

FIFA Career mode is a piece of shit, you can buy all stars with almost every team, you can play only 5 years, Zyg showed you how stupid that is, the money system is totally unrealistic and that´s why PES Career mode is better. Oh, wait, I forgot, in Giggsy´s world it´s realistic that Figo, Zidane and Raul can be bought by West Ham Please think a little bit before you´re posting. You cannot configure your own tournaments, Lots of tournaments only available in Career Mode, like Champions league.
I´m not avoiding your posts as you can see, you are avoding mine !

When you say you don't like the new PES3 master league mode, are you saying it's worse than the PES1 or PES2 ML modes?? Of course there are some limitations to what is in PES3 ML mode but at the end of the day you can:

1. play in a British premiership league (looks like forward thinking there ),
2. play in a realistic(-ish) Champions League and UEFA Cup modes,
3. Imagine the Cup is the FA Cup and all you are missing is the League Cup - hmmm, if this was in the game, would we too send in weakened teams?!

larsson didn't ask any questions but he did make the point that the money in fifa 2004 is just as unrealistic if not more so, than in PES3.

So both have their good and bad points but to me PES3 wins.

SOME people cannot accept what you´re saying coz it´s BULLSHIT - sometimes ! Sorry to say that, but it´s true, I agreed with you in that:

- graphics, nice effects (mud on shirts etc)
- superb chants
- original league (yes, real Premiership is nicer than Norhern Divison)

which I think is better than in PES, but then I said some things on the second page that are better in PES than in FIFA and you didn´t agree with that, it seems that you even didn´t read it, so you´re the one who´s not accepting other peoples opinion mate.

And when you´re saying career mode is more realistic in FIFA then it´s over my friend, I won´t accept that, you can say it´s better for you, but you cannot say it´s more realistic and better overall, where´s the challenge and realism if you can buy every player with almost every team ? I understand that some people think it´s nice but as I said stop with this ridicolous arguments, I´ve showed you that they are not true, and if you click on the link I gave you in my last post you´ll see that FIFA fans think the same. You claimed also that FIFA has the better shooting system than PES. So it´s up to you to open up your eyes and not to blame other people like me for arguing. I accept every other opinion, I played every FIFA games since 1993, as long as this opinion has some basis, not just stupid sentences written down without thinking

but the way i see it is..i love football and fifa and pes are both football so i am happy with both.

and i was wrong about the shooting i like em both the same, its just that the pes3 shooting system is harder.
