AOE or LOTR?

Which one would you buy? My laptop is no longer needed for my work at Dixons as i have a more powerful main computer so i got it traded back into my job and they gave me another that i can use for leisure (my main computer is for work now); it is very good and i have two games on it; ICC 2006 and Battlefield but i was thinking whether i should get a strategy game because my colleagues and i are thinking of starting a league except we didn't decide which game we should all get; Age of Empires III and Lord Of The Rings:The Battle For Middle Earth II, which one would you go for? :mellow:

Personally I think that AOE2 is better - as well as Rome Total War - but out of those two I'd say AOE3.

Im thinking AOE3 proably because i could get LOTR for XBOX 360 and play online against others and use AOE3 for my league, depends though my friend at work didn't want to go for either of them he wanted Warcraft or something but is that online?

Definately Age of Empires III, it is brilliant and the AOE series always produce great games.

AOE, LOTR is total crap, I don't even like these sort of games but AOE got me hooked

age of empires i played lotr on 360 in game and didn't know what to do doesn't really explain
