Maybe its not the formation your playing, it might be your style of play.

As you know Arsenal don't really have many powerhouses, apart from Adebayor and, at a push, Nicky bendter :erm:. So try adopting a much more passing-orientated game. Lots of short sharp passes with Fabregas, Nasri and whoever you've got in midfield will help you get the ball forward a lot easier than if you try to outpower everyone with someone like Walcott.

You could try the long ball tactic a bit aswell, because you've got a lot of players with good long ball accuracy, in players like Fabregas, and even Toure. Especially with Adebayor and Van Persie upfront, they could just head the ball on to each other, or flick it on to a winger.

Whenever i've played as Arsenal i've had no problem trouncing other teams, who do you play in your 4-4-2 ?

Put your gamertag in the following thread dude, people might add you and then you can play. Unfortunately I don't have a 360, so I can't play you ;)

Anyway, back on topic. Yeah thats probably your strongest team, but i'd get rid of song/denilson in favour of Diaby. I find hes a much better partner to Fabregas in the middle of the park. Going by the Player/Dog philosophy.

I can't remember if Rosicky is in the team or not? If he is then you could try playing him over Walcott, and using Walcott as a sub when RVP or Adebayor is tired. I find that when he comes on against a tired defence, he rips it up big time.

Also what are you doing with your fullbacks? I find that if you have attack arrows pointing forward on your fullbacks, they get forward too much, and leave you exposed at the back. So if you can, don't have them attacking at all. You'll find they'll get forward, just not as often.

Do you play it as a flat 4-4-2? I've always used a 4-4-2 diamond formation with a DM and AM in the central midfield for Arsenal on all PES games and it has worked well for me. Maybe try playing Eduardo instead of Adebayor too? As Dale said you may want to get Rosicky into the team but then again I imagine he won't last long before getting injured again.

I can't remember which formation number the one I'm on about is - something like 4-4-2 A1 or 2 - but it makes the midfield look like an arrow pointing towards the forwards. I'd probably have Fabregas as DM, Nasri AM, Walcott LM, Rosicky RM with Van Persie and Adebayor/Eduardo up top. Or Walcott RM, Van Persie LM and Eduardo and Adebayor up top. It all depends on your style of play though, as Dale mentioned earlier. I tend to play very quick, short passes with hardly any long balls or crosses.
