I don't know how much other people have noticed, but two of the most annoying things about the A.I in BAL are transfers( 90% of teams don't buy defenders, at all) and the results and league placings of other teams during the league.

I would say about 90% of the teams in BAL, including your own team, make purchases of players which are absolutely absurd because they hardly ever buy defenders! whats up with that? And secondly, have other people found that most of the big clubs in BAL lose a shocking amount of games in their respective leagues, and makes the league pretty easy to win. I'm in my 9th season and am with Arsenal, and teams like Man U and chelsea have lost about 12/ 13 games in the league! stupid.


i still like BAL, but i think these are just a few more examples of things Konami can easily make better and put right with a little bit of work.

My team doesnt aquire any strikers at all. Which is kinda silly, since the two main strikers are both over 30 years old and there is nobody on the bench who can really replace them.

Yeh it happens with different positions at different clubs. stupid.

that happens alot at Man United. We only have one CB and thats Vidic. so when it comes to the games its either Carrick or Fletcher partnering him or both when he's to tired from playing at least 10 games straight. the midfield and strikers are awesome but it gets so annoying when we let in weak goals because of the defense.

I suppose this is from game to game but I'm getting quite good transfers.

Namely Robinho and Kaka'. However, Robinho only stayed with us for half a season (but he helped me win both the UEFA Cup and the Ligue 1) and Kaka' joined during the summer window prior to season 3.

I don't know if Robinho was a loan or a permanent buy because he returned to Man City. Oh well...

And I play Paris St-Germain. My manager must be having some serious negotiation skill to get those two.
