Everyone else should use this thread to let people know they have the game. No more new threads for this info. Cheers.

Don't worry about the manual yet. In training mode there is a basic guide to every move which is worth checking out. Any other help you need, you can find by asking here. Enjoy it :)

..and the manual is in french!!!!!!!
Yeah, a lot of others have had the same thing happen to them. Play.com have (or had as the case will be now) a batch of 2000 PES3's all with French manuals. Why? I don't know.
I'm awaiting my order from play.com so hopefully I won't get one. I hope they have already sold em'. :)

Went home from work today on my lunch and there it was - fantastic - hadny played the demo so here are my first impressions based on a 3 star match england versus scotland.

Stutter Bug: Present sometimes from goal kicks but less so with sommentary off

Thought the gane was pretty difficult it ended 1-1, shooting is a lot harder but more realistic, it is a lot harder to simply 'dribble' past players but again this is more realistic. I thought the ball was a bit small and looked rather out of proportion but it moved through the air with greater realism and crosses are superb although I found heading both defensively and offensively to be harder.

Other neat touches include handballs and free kicks resulting from argy bargy i.e defenders and attackers pushing when challenging for headers.

And gone is the ridiculous shirt pulling and stumbling from PES2.

all in all top notch

I got the game today

I ordered from gameplay.com a week or so ago and they posted it on the 14th. I got home today and it was sitting ther.

Iv played the game a little, and from wot iv seen ther isnt that much of this stutter thing i heard about, infact it rarely happens, and if it does, its only on the odd goalkick.

The lack of updates is rather annyoing, but i managed to make the arsenal home kit without any problems, and it looks wicked, so quite possibly they made sure kits were createable, has anyone created any other kits/badges?

Gameplay wise it feels quite different to play from pes2, very much more realistic, and the gameplay allows for much more of fluidity in the passing. It seems tho it is alot harder to takling the CPU while they are dribbling, but maybe its practise. Final thing, all the little touches and flicks and tricks add to the game a whole load. In a small summary, the games been made more realistic, my opinion anyway.

has any other ppl got the game already?

Pretty much agree with everything that xtremebonner had to say. The stutter is more noticable when you start playing but I stopped noticing it after a while.

Has anyone else noticed that Peter Brackley has developed a slight lisp??! he keeps calling Lucio - Luthio!!! Again I stopped noticing that after a while.

I'm chuffed cause the proper shade of claret is now available for the West Ham shirt and I can create both the home and away kits to near perfection.

The only thing which slightly annoys me (and it's the tiniest thing in the world) is that the sound of boot on ball is very faint as is the sound when the ball strikes the woodwork and sometimes the crowd sound can drown out the commentary (which might not be a bad thing as although it is improved, compared to the rest of the game it's bloody awful!!) I've tried fiddling with the SFX and Commentary sound levels but to no avail - anyone else noticed this problem?

All in all though absolutely top class game. I've been playing against a friend all day but I'm only working a 1/2 day tomorrow so in the afternoon I can get editing and start my Master League.

BRING IT ON!! :D

I played 2 games last night and I was very impressed with it, the graphic over haul is very noticable, theres more details in the graphics

The commerentary is ....... ermmmmmm ok I guess

Sound wise I cant comment yet as my hifi speakers got nicked while being repaired at Currys UK and there replacing the whole system for me

Ive got to admit though, If the sound is'nt very good you might want to invest in a scart audio lead so the sound comes out of your hifi, I did that with PES2 and the sound was amazing

I dont have the stutter problem and my PS2 is the very first ones that came out, I may be lucky or it could be because I keep my PS2 in a special computer bag away from dust and I clean the PS2 with a lens cleaner once every couple weeks

The computer A1 is a 100% improved, when the computer defence do get the ball off you they actually dribble into midfield this time and beyond instead of just booting it up the field wimbledon style!!!

I like the way the computer defence actually zone press you, Some people say it makes it harder to score but personally Id rather play a game where I win 1-0 or 2-0 than a easy 7-0 victory, the goal keeper saves are so realistic

The speed is a lot better too, players take a little longer to accerlate which is a lot better for dribbling

Is it me or is SHEVCHENKO WELL FAST???

I played against Ukraine and I couldnt believe the guys pace

I used France and England, Both Henry & Owen are very realistic speed and dribbling wise

So far hands down, good game, I'l play it more on Sunday
