Don't know if this question has already been asked, but is it possible to cancel a normal pass(x button). There are times when i press that button twice in my haste and then i lose the ball. Playing it right into the opponent foot. Don't know if anyone is familiar with this problem, but it can be a real pain in the ass, when this happens, and u cannot do anything about it.

I think there's something called a super cancel you can use. its uses a combination of the shoulder buttons on the ps2. look in the maunal 4 it

I know the super cancel, u have to press R1+R2, but that doesn't work for a normal pass. If it's not in this game, then it would be a great idea for pes6.

All you can do for an accidental pass is to quickly change the direction so it goes somewhere else. Sometimes it may be a better option to kick it back towards the defence or even off the pitch rather than giving away possession.

That's a great tip u've given there zygaslki, i'll guess i have to do it with that. But one thing the super cancel does no't work for accidental passes. For now i'll will do it with zygaslki's tip, but i do hope some kind off cancel of a normal pass will be in pes6 :D

Super cancel works on things that have a power meter. In other words, Lob passes and shots. Normal passes or through balls are not affected.

However, I just discovered that pressing the R1 and R2 buttons right after pressing the pass button does generate a move I have never seen before. The player kicks the ball forward a bit. So DAZMISTER is partly right. Although I don't actually believe this is a pass cancel so much as a move of its own. It isn't listed in the command list's "Cancel Kicks" commands either. I can't find it described anywhere actually.

Also, the reason I have never done this before is that I play on the Xbox where pressing the pass button and immediately after the black and right shoulder trigger is a feat I cannot accomplish. For this to work I had to put my indexfinger on the black button and my longfinger on the trigger. Not exactly comfortable. On the PS2 I would believe this is alot easier since the R1 and R2 buttons are right next to eachother.
