champions league kits in master league with update

hi, i've got a quick option file question:

i bought an update from ebay and uploaded it, but once i'd got it uploaded, it meant that i could no longer use the champions league kits eg. liverpool's white away champions league kit or number/name font, it only let me use the black premier league away kit.

i've re-installed it, and now i cand use the white kit for champions league friendlies or tournaments, but not for champions league games within master league.

does anyone know whether this is an issue with all updates, or whether there is anything i can do about it?
