So we're at the end of another season, there's sunshine outside and the smell of barbeques is tempting you to leave your computers, your Playstations and your X-Boxes (or whatever the plural of X-Box is) but wait! Forget the Summer, close your curtains and pretend it's still 13° outside (ahem). It's time for the 2013 Build Awards with a new and improved concept courtesy of luukzwaan.

The competition will play out over four rounds.

Rounds 1, 2 and 3 will be straight knockout 1v1 with the winner of each battle progressing to the next round.

The final will be between three competitors to decide the overall winner of the competition.

Competitors will be drawn at random into competing pairs with each pair being assigned a randomly drawn player. Draws will be conducted by our referees; paul2478, Schitzophonic and Guiterrez18.

Each battle will have its own thread topped by a poll. Competitors only need to send the formulas for their builds to paul2478 in a PM. Preview pictures of all competitors' builds will be added courtesy of rebelinho, then paul will post the faces in the appropriate thread.

Competitors are allowed one week to complete their formulas, voting will then last for three days.

Use of relinked hairstyles using the W!ld@ Editor is permitted.

The winner of the competition will receive a banner that will be added to their profile.

The referee- they'll be a neutral who isn't entered in the competition. I have asked someone to do that job and they said yes before but I'm just checking with them to make sure they still want to do it.

[MENTION=209275]CulPipol[/MENTION] - Absolutely but it's for face builds. When luuk posted the idea in the staff forums he mentioned trying to include something for scans and kitmakers but it's difficult to see how to do that.
