controller problem

ive got a ps2 adaptor that allows me to use a ps2 pad on the pc. i cant configure the controls for pro 5. the L2 button is registering as the start button. the only buttons that are correct are the directional buttons and the circle, square and x buttons. could anyone help me how to configure the controls? or is it that the demo is not behaving properly?

maybe something wrong with the pad's driver , i think

Someone else also had this problem. If you can't solve it by updating the drivers etc, just remember which button is what and change them around in the button config screen.

Or try plugging the controller into the other port of the adapter.
