Today, I bought Pro Evolution Soccer 5 for the PC. The game installed without a hitch. I have two problems. First, I cannot start the game or settings normally. When I do, I get this error:

"PES5 has encountered an unexpected..."

I'm sure most people have seen this error before. That's when I load the game. When I load the settings, I get an error which basically says "The memory could not be written."

Now, I can get around both these issues by right-clicking the icon and selecting "Run As". Here is the big problem. The computer does not recognise my keyboard. I also have a normal PC gamepad with no analogs, which is also unrecognised by the game. When I go into settings, and into the button configuration, there are no devices in the pull-down menu.

Could the fact that my keyboard is cordless be a problem?

I think u should uninstall the game and then reinstall it. U´re game doesnt seem to be correctly installed or maybe u´re computer doesnt meet the minimum requirements.

My computer is almost two times better than the 'Recommended Requirements'. I have reinstalled it but I still have the same problem.
