Corrupt File!

My memory card PES4 option file has just become corrupt and i've resigned myself to deleting it. It has taken me since December to perfect it. Its happened before with PES3, and i was wondering if any kind person could offer an explanationa and anyway to avoid it happening again?

I dont think ive done either of those things. I tend to very careful when saving as i have lost a ML with careless saving work. Just a side question: If i buy a max drive, what do i do to get a file off the site?

download them, unzip them, place on max drive, then place on ps2,...erm play with it

havent a clue, i use the x-port, check the downlaod section thought, theres plenty there

Option files just sometimes screw up randomly. Can't do anything about it except keep backups. Getting a Max Drive is a great idea.

A good file is the pesfan V3 option file. But get the regular one and not the patched version.

Ive got a problem like this aswell on pes4 i just got one black box and it just says corrupt file, tried to delete it but it didnt work.

Reset the PS2 with no disk and check the memory card using the browser. You should be able to delete corrupt bits in there. Otherwise backup your files and format the card.

Thanks ive decided to back the files up using max drive, i could not actually see the corrupted file on the memory card whilst using the browser. So i used pes data control and deleted the file from there.
