Howdy all, I'm a newb, but, for a yank, it's good to finally get to be one with WE6I..Anyhow, I'm trying to redo some rosters and I just can't seem to figure out how to create a player and put him on a club team with the register function..As a workaround, I've just been replacing players outright, but, the nationalities, and commentator names are wrong that way...

you cant do it unfortunatley, the method you are using now is the only way. hopefully these stupid faults will be sorted in pes3

I didn't know they kept it the same for WE6I after all the complaints for PES2 and WE6:FE.
It's shocking.

Do you think they will care enough to fix it for PES3 and WE7?

Since it came out after so much time, did they manage to update the teams or are they still pre-world cup?

Yep, I sort of feared there was no other way to do it...outside of Master league mode. Hopefully it will get changed in PES3-which, I guess I'll have to import :)

As to the rosters and teams in WE6I, they seem to be the same as the ones on PES2 stats, so, yep-I'd say they weren't changed...I wish to high heaven they'd not changed the Queen intro and credits, as well!..we're stuck with this gawdawful grating neo-techno music. It's hysterical.

Great game nonetheless...I'm totally addicted to it.

BTW-I'll put up the numbers of a full Arsenal kit I just finished sometime tommorow..No pictures, though

I would have expected them to at least change the USA team to update it a little. Is there no Brad Friedel in it?

not that I saw-I'll check it again, though..WE6I seems to be just plain 'ol WE6 with english commentary..I don't think they changed anything, really...

Well at least you can use the PES2 option files on WE6I thanks to some members of PESFan, so you could just download and get all the updates, unless you love editing. :)

EDIT: still doesn't come close to using the old simple editor and changing call names on we6fe :D

Yeah, not a fan of it but I go right for it in editing.
For PES1 and PES2, I had everyone with corrected names (including first names) and appearances.
PES2 all the club kits and flags. That took bleeding AGES!
Club transfers and all that too.

But I think the game is better for it so I don't mind.
