Creating a custom team?

Ok, maybe I'm a freakin' tard but I cannot figure out how to build a custom team
All I want to do is make an old skool team w/ Cryuff, Cantona, Eusabio, etc..
they are all in the "other" teams available, but how do I get them all on a team and then use them in the Master League?
DoI have to go outside the gbame and build the team another way?

I've already done that, and I still can't get the players I want.

For example, when I start a master league team I cannot access the "Classic France" team players at all so I cannot buy Cantona.
When I look under all the players in the search he is not listed.

I just want to build a special team, put them in a cup competition, and see how they do.

You can use the cheat method to build a custom team.

Firstly make sure that the option file auto-save is OFF.
Go to edit mode and then to Register Player. Manually transfer all the players you want to the team of your choice (tip: pick a team with nice and varied kits). You'll have to send the current players of that team elsewhere - it doesn't matter where. Minimum for all squads is 16 so add before you take any more away.

So just transfer all the players you want to that team. Then exit Edit mode and start ML mode. Start ML with the second option "Match mode".
Then save your ML straight away on a new slot.

You can now use this custom team in exhibition matches. Slight problem for ML would be the players you sent to random teams might mess things up for those teams.

BTW - I"m a big fan of extra "classic" teams hidden in games. This is something EA has always done in Madden, and I wish someone would do it in PES or EA FIFA. Seems logical.
