Crossing is borked?!?!

Compared to previous years I am scoring ---- all goals from crosses, including corners.

Am I the only one or have they changed the mechanic drastically? It seems every cross is 99.9% likely to be covered by the defending team. In previous years I would get a goal every game from a cross, now 442 is basically useless lol.

I've tried sticking to near post crosses, also aiming with full crosses (e.g. holding back to aim at the player arriving late into the box), pressing L1 +R1 for crossing stance (whic hused to work quite well), no dice, the defenders always get their heads to the ball even if my player is steaming in at speed.

The few that I have scored, many of them involve super cancel, my gut feeling is that super cancel is almost mandatory - but esp with low crosses everyhting is happening so fast that its difficult to get your bearings, let alone select the player, super cancel then do the right move?!?!

Imo that's a good thing this year. Previous years it was too easy to cross with players that had shitty crossing ability. This year those players rarely find a good cross but someone like Giggs usually pick someone out with perfect crosses. Haven't used Beckham yet but if I have that much success with Giggs, I can't wait to see Beck's crosses.

Also I think the cut back pass is a lot easier this year. Don't be ashamed to use it lol. Like half the goals come from this in real life.

I'm actually getting lots of goals from crosses when playing online. I just use Trezeguet as as striker with "Fox in the Box" card on and he actually scores lots of goals from crosses.
