CVG Interviews Konami's Seabass

It's not happening.

This news is a few days old. However, not as old as other information from Konami stating that the game will not be taking their series to the Xbox.

What I mean by this is just two days after this information was released by the developers, Konami stepped in and said that it was crap. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news... :)

Has anyone read that interview with "Seabass" that Zygalski posted????

The guy says due to all the licenses and paper work Pro Evo 3 is not going to be very updated...or am i reading it wrong?????

From what i picked up, it takes so long to get permission that they are just gonna leave the rosters (except for the really big transfers) for US to update. he said they've tried to make it as easy as possible for us to do it!!!

Yes it IS easy for us to do it...but isn't that Konami's job???
Fifa's Updated to the full and comes out the same day and obviously involves the same paper work!!

Am i wrong or is that just lazy?

Anyone want to debate my post (above)

Seems like a talking point. they get paid a lot of money (our money) so why are WE doing THEIR work??????

XBOX is crap. it should stick with Playstation!!!!

Don't be a fanboy, it isn't crap. Both the PS2 and the Xbox have their definite strong points and what's wrong with Konami spreading the love and allowing Xbox owners the chance to experience PES? Don't you want them to enjoy PES too? I certainly do. The more the merrier.

They dont have the time for it and I dont mind editing myself, but you are right the should do it. But what i tink is annoying that you must first win 10000 pes points and then you can start editing before you have that you are a time busy! They should implent it ''free'' the transfer option or just update is by theirself.

Cheers

It's possible to earn 10,000 in less than a week - if you win all the cups and pass some of the training challenges. If you play really hardcore stylee, you could earn that much in a couple of days.
If you can't be bothered, you can earn just the same amount using any settings, so you could play cups on 1* at 5 minute matches. Does make it a bit cheap (as in tacky and unrewarding) though.

Alternatively, you could use someone's option file and have it done in a few minutes but then again that takes us back to the argument on why 'we' are doing the work and not Konami.

Tricky one, this.

I think they're argument is more of "If FIFA can do it, why can't Konami?". I think some people would like to see Konami try harder and strive for more. I'm pretty sure that they are grateful for what Konami has brought to the table but believe they can have more.

I'm looking at it from both sides of the fence. Interesting comments from Seabass.
