First of, don't dis-respect Konami, because without them we wouldn't have Pro Evo which by the way is the best footie game. No ones forcing you to buy the game, i play PES2008 on XBOX 360 i am dis apointed with it, but i still play it. if you dont like it then either:
1) Buy PES6 or PES5 on PS2, PC
2) Go and play shitty FIFA, your choice.

Don't play Pong though as the lag is terrible.
1. I've been playing and waiting for PES to acheive it's potential since it started so don't lecture me about loyalty.
2. When FIFA make a footy game that even comes close to the quality of PES then I will play it.

Aparently they have released a huge update (fifa_i5_Trd_update666.UPD) for FIFA 08 makes it much more playable think it might actually beat Pro evo now...

I actually like FIFA 08. I think they have made real advances in the play. Camera angle is still pants.

Same here to be honest, its gradually improving, next installments could be very close, Konami will have to pull something special out the bag or EA will grab a few more PES fans I reckon.

ive only played demos since the megadrive versions which were wicked!!
an i just dont feel in control of anything? (the ronaldinho bit when it loads was the best bit i thought?) i just get bored of the controls & game play when I playing it?
