I'm from the US and played winning eleven 9 so I am trying to decide which game to buy. On konami's site they list pro evolution soccer 2007 for $19.99 (http://www.konami.com/Konami/ctl3810/cp20108/si2324095/cl1/winning_eleven_pro_evolution_soccer_2007)

but there is also a pro evolution 6 for pc availabe which is $49.99 on gamerpro http://www.gogamer.com/Pro-Evolutio...VVproductId6442204VVcatId444820VVviewprod.htm

as well as a $40 version on the same site ---> http://www.gogamer.com/Winning-Elev...VproductId11744279VVcatId444820VVviewprod.htm

so I am trying to figure out if there are different versions of the game and which one I should buy if im trying to play online and competitively. Should I just get the UK version?

i am in the u.s as well. i got the xbox360 version pes2007, the games is fun and long-lasting but lacks stadiums and editing. i heard the ps2 version has more stadiums. i think the xbox360 graphics and playability is better than the ps2 version. dont get the pc version, i had the previous two version and i just hated it

Winning eleven pro evolution 2007 is the US version and Pro Evolution 6 in the european version. I dont know if the european version will work on you pc or ps2, w/e you use.

WE/PES 2007 has limited hairstyle while PES 6 has LOTS of hairstyle.
I think that's the main difference.

I will be playing on PC, so essentially the $19.99 would be the best choice? I am willing to pay more for the pes6 game however, can I run a foreign copy...is there something different from it? Would i still be able to play with people on the same pes6 network if i bought the US version?

If you're gonna buy a PC version, your best bet is PES 6, WEPES 2007 is a mess regarding preset faces and hairstyles, plus PES 6 is harder to play, WEPES2007 is too easy. other subtle differences are:

-WEPES 2007 has puma balls and boots instead of PES6's Reebok
-Barcelona's kit has Unicef in WEPES 2007.

I've played PES 6 online against people in UK, no problems at all, it all depends on your internet connection, about PC compatibility, Windows is the same system, over here and at Europe,no region locks or shit like that, if your PC meets the game requirements, then you OK.

I own PES 6 for PC and WEPES 2007 for PS2 and PSP, so I know what I'm talking about :)

I have the same question as climbscrew13. Where I can find PES6 to buy it in the U.S.? I've always wanted to play the European version and now that I have a gaming PC I finally can. The only problem is that every site I see sells it in pounds. Or does anyone know if I can just order from a UK site with USD?
