Just a quick question from someone who's a bit special when it comes to knowing much bout computers. Im getting one of those Max drive jobbies over the weekend and i know that i can use it to transfer option files from my computer to my playstation2. What about patches? becos all the chat i hear about tranfserring exe files and stuff just seems to refer to patches only being for your pc, or can i use my max drive to down load torrent patches on to my playstation. (I've seen patches for pitches and ad boards etc and the option files dont seem to include those). Or am i being a tit becos patches and the option file downloads the same thing. Someone help me out, would be much appreciated.

Option files are not patches. Patches can be over 500MB and there's no way that would fit on a memory card of 8MB.
There are patching guides in the Tutorials section that explain how to patch the games. You need a chipped or modded console to play a patched game.
Max Drive files can be used on all PS2s.
