Before Sabu gets a chance to accept, the Dudley Boyz come down to ringside, setup a table on the outside, light it on fire, and powerbomb Benoit from the top of the turnbuckle through the flaming table. They then make for the exit.

Sabu then runs in, and drop kicks barb wire down Benoit's throat, leading to rumours that Benoit has been brutally murdered on the live return of ECW.

The Dudley Boyz, now out the back with Joey Styles, demand the "best tag team in the world today" are handed the tag titles, which, conveniently, is them.
