Error loading Option file

When I try to load the option file I get the message: "option file is corrupted. Loading failed"..
Anyone having the same problem? How can I solve this?

I had this problem-go to your browser then memory card then delete the corrupted file if you cant then check your memory card in someonelse's PS2 if that dont work get a new memory card like i did.

I don't think you need a new mem card. Format it and it should be fine.
But you should back up all your files first using x-port or max drive.

Get a Max Drive Or X-port. In this case you can back-up all your memorycard saves into your PC.

It's a shame you'll have to delete all your PES4 stuff. Life's a bitch, mate.

how do you get it corrupted in the first place??

Mine got corrupted cos I had an X-PORT option file on it from PES 3, I deleted it then it worked fine.
