Extracting data.afs from unpatched CD

Please help.
I have an unpatched cdrip of WE7i but when I try to create a .bin and .cue file it gives me errors halfway through the process. I think it's down to scratches on the disk. Is there anyway with a programme I can extract the unpatched data.afs and over.afs files from the CD to then patch and replace an already patched data.afs file?
Any help much appreciated.

Cant you open CD's with CDmage? If yes you can easily extract with CDmage data_x and over.afs etc.
And when you put WE7I in Cd-rom can you open it then via windows explorer (right? right mouse click on Start) If yes you only have to grab the files on the cdrom and extract to Hard Drive. IT isnt needed to use a program to make BINs, you can do it manually too.

Thanks mate but I think it must be corrupt as I tried to do all these things then 3/4 of the way through it gave me a corruption message - never mind. This is the same with my original copy as well from the DVD.
Thanks anyways - I've preordered We8 so will get on to this soon anyways.

If its the same with all games then it could be your CDDRIVE/DVD Drive
