extreme defending of a lead

I was at home to Arsenal and I went 1-0 up just 3' in to the game. Then on the 9' my CB was sent off for a last man challenge. I subbed off a striker and brought on Nesta in CB. I pulled Carlos from LM to LB and moved my LB into CB. I also moved my RM back as far as I could and still keep him as a midfielder. My team looked like this I defended for the other 81'. It was a brilliant defensive performance and ended up scoring one on the break to make it 2-0. Then I scored a free kick to make it 3-0 before they pulled one back with 1' remaining.
Anyone else had to pull out a brick wall performance to take the points?

I scored to make it 1-0 v my mate, and just to make it interesting,I sat back and defended solidly the whole game (20 mins)then on the 90th he scored with henry,I won 4-1 in extra time.

If one of my centre-backs was to get sent off then I’d take off a striker and replace him with a defender and play him in defence. I’d drag the other striker back a little (just ahead of the central midfielders) and that’s it. I wouldn’t change the formation or edit anyone’s position. I’m pretty awful when it comes to defending but I’m very good going forward so I'd play to my strength.

when i played my mate on pes (he's better than me) i took an early 1-0 lead & pulled every position as far back as i could, except leaving 1 striker up front. I would disposess him each time & just hoof it up to my striker. i ended up winning 2-0 :D
