Face Threads

Hi everyone, juampy has raised the discussion of a general face thread where all face makers can post their work as well as in their individual threads.

This was posted in the Player Face index on page 40 here, you can see my thoughts on the matter, but while wanting to keep the thread tidy I thought I should gather everyone else's thoughts on it.

Please vote in the poll, which I will keep open for one week.

I can't see how it would work, far too big.

And a few people would still make their own threads or post elsewhere, so the idea of it being concise still wouldn't work.

Compañeros,ante todo creo que no captaron la idea,yo no pienso que se deba modificar este FORO DE PESGAMING ,lo que yo sugerí es crear un hilo extra,que sea un "hilo principal" "donde todos podamos publicar",no seria un caos,seria un "hilo extra" todos sin prohibir a nadie pudiesen publicar ahí,beneficiando a todos (visitantes y facemaker)así se apreciaría el trabajo de todos y no solo de 1 o 2 facemaker,que valgan verdades el "HILO DE MAKIAVELO40" es el mas visto y figura como el hilo principal de este foro,ejemplos ,pregunten a cualquiera cual consideran el "HILO PRINCIPAL" de SOCCER EN PESGAMING , automaticamente van a señalar el de "MAKIAVELO 40" lastimosamente en el "HILO PRINCIPAL" ACTUAL SOLO PUBLICAN "MAKIAVELO Y SUS AMIGOS" (NO MALINTERPRETEN) y no pueden publicar otras personas,y se respeta sus reglas dado que el inicio ese hilo,por eso para beneficio de los visitantes que buscan los trabajos y nosotros los facemaker que queremos hacer notar mas nuestro trabajo,pido la creacion de un "HILO PRINCIPAL" donde todos podamos publicar,miren el caso de "meristation"un usuario creo un "HILO principal de caras" donde todos publicamos,aparte de nuestros "hilos personales" espero compañeros que ahora estan en contra de la creación de un "hilo principal"( hilo extra ) aclaren sus dudas,gracias por considerar mi propuesta "paul2478", saludos a todos.
Comrades, I think first of all have missed the point, I do not think we ought to change this FORUM PESGAMING, what I suggested is to create an extra thread, it is a "main thread" "where everyone can post" would not be a chaos would be an "extra thread" without banning all anyone could post there, benefiting everyone (visitors and Facemaker) so appreciate the work of all and not just 1 or 2 Facemaker that the true worth "MAKIAVELO40 tHREAD" is the most watched and tracked as the main thread of this forum, examples, ask anyone they consider the "mAIN lINE" from SOCCER PESGAMING, automatically going to point to "Makiavelo 40" pitifully in the "mAIN lINE" TODAY ONLY pUBLISH "Makiavelo aND FRIENDS" (do not misunderstand) and can not publish other people, and respect their rules since the start that thread, so for the benefit of visitors looking for and we work we want to note Facemaker more our work, ask for the creation of a "mAIN LINE" where we can all post, look for "meristation" a user created a "main faces tHREAD" where we publish all apart of our "personal wireless" I hope you are now partners against the creation of a "main thread" (extra thread) clarify their doubts, thanks for considering my proposal "paul2478" greetings to all.

Aún si existiera ese tema de TOOODOS los facemakers (realmente no creo que todos los que hay en PESGaming publiquen de todos modos) el tema de Maquiavelo sería más visto, el porqué es simple... maquiavelo viene haciendo faces de BASTANTE tiempo y se ha ganado una reputación entre los usuarios de PES (al menos los que lo editan), así como lo ha hecho Homer S., chung, chuckyboy, davfanpes, edgar 12 y muchos otros facemakers.

Even if that thread were AAAALL the facemakers could post, that post would have less views than maquiavelo thread. The reason is very simple, maquiavelo made faces for a loooong time, and in that time he earned a reputation among the users of PES as Homer S., chung, chuckyboy, davfanpes, edgar 12 and a looot more of facemaker did.

En otros foros soy el mas visto eso que empece a publicar hace poco tiempo,miren "meristation" "pessoccerwordl" creo que si los visitantes viesen mas diversidad de trabajo otros serian los mas visitados,ultimamente aparecieron muy buenos Facemaker,no importa el tiempo ,importa mas la calidad,el problema es que en este foro algunos hilos se han centralizado demasiado,no muestran el trabajo de otros buenos Facemaker como debiese de ser ,si hubiese un hilo principal creo que serian mas apreciados nuevos facemaker.
En este foro tengo alrededor de 3 meses y mi hilo tiene cerca de 70000 visitas,ponte que comparta mis caras en el hilo mas visto,no tendria esa cantidad si no muchas visitas mas, saludos.

I can see that your problem is that you think you don't get recognized as much as deserved. I can give you my own example, as my thread exist for exactly 7 months and 1 day (just noticed it now) and it only has 50k views. my point is: why do you care so much about views? you must be the one happy about your work in first place, not others. I am into facemaking cause I want those faces. yes, I might do some requests here and there, but the biggest factor is myself. also you, opposite to maquiavelo, dont earn money with these faces, so views only have a ego vitaminic role.

as a summary: do you want a new global thread, where all the works/faces are posted as a method of decreasing differences/increasing equuality between all the modders? if so, you might have my :thumbsup:. despite being a nice idea it just is too much info for one single place. but it is up to the admins

Maquiavelo earns money with these faces? :erm:

I'm almost sure yes (please apologize me if I'm wrong). as you might know you can monetize your YT account. doing this (becoming a YT Partner) you earn special features to your account, like custom thumbnails and the possiblity of earning money with those videos. when people watch them and ads appear on the sides the owner of the video earns some money.

I don't know if maquiavelo is using this monetizing function, but I'm sure he is a partner as he is using custom thumbnails in is videos. but I'm sure he can answer better than me.

I still don't quiet get it. Did you mean we make a main thread for faces and post our creation there, but still post it at our own thread? Or post at faces main thread and stop posting at our own thread?

I know you only want to make everyone get equal attention. Mine only getting 129k views after almost 14 damn months. But i don't bother.
Wouldn't it will be hell of a mess if everything is posted at one thread?

This seems a pretty needless idea, really. The one thread for everyone to showcase their work already exists; the face index topic. It hardly matters who posts the faces. If people just want to browse through random faces to "gather interest for PESGaming" or whatever, they can look at the index.

Haha sorry mate, i mean no harm to anyone, and its 129 not 140.
I mean, look at other thread by some of the other facemakers, Juampy hit nearly 70k in only 4 months, anthony nearly 70k in 6 months, chuck with 76k in 6 months, Homer hit 163k in just 7 months.
Their's half the age of mine and obviously can outnumbered my views just in a few months from now! Not to mention the great maq with 1mil views.

But still, i don't really bother. I used to, but now i don't. Really.

Makiavelo postea por ayudarnos a tener un mejor pes pero parece que tu lo haces solo para querer demostrar que tus faces son mejor que las de maki, deja ya de armar tanto revuelo por una tonteria como esta

Makiavelo post his faces for helping us have a better PES but it seems that you do it just to want to prove that your faces are better than maki, stop arming a silly fuss like this
