FIFA off the ball runs or PES through ball

They have to be timed properly though. You need a good logic. It's yet another one of those features of PES that makes you think. Completely contrasts with the FIFA way of thinking - it just allows you to hammer various buttons and the ball will end up in the net eventually.

a button you press that sends the other members of your team on runs
something that you can only simulate with a give-and-go/one-two type pass with WE/PES.

pressing a button and having players run into space BEFORE you have to pass them the ball would be a great addition, as it would open up many things.

FIFA 2004 does that but is pretty crap..and never works..But it was a good idea

Also, YOU can´t control OTHER player in real footie, so when YOU have the ball in WE7 YOU shouldn´t be able to control any OTHER player

Yes you control the players runs but thats good because its just like controlling your whole team like when u hold square to call 2 defenders..THAT is also getting another player to press at the same time as another which u can't make a player do in real footie.

What's your favourite. I personally think that FIFA's off the ball runs are better than PES through pass because the through pass hardly ever works.

You can do that on PES. have the formation change on the strategy buttons and voila.

The attack attitude bar as well as player positioning and attack arrows do make a difference to how they run so experiment with that a bit.

Fifa 2004 is just madden with a "Soccer" ball. theres nothing new in Fifa. The game will never match up to PES. and as for the formation change it works brilliantly if you take the time to tweak to your style of play. also players make the runs in PES. Honestly, some people must be so poo at the game.

Yes, and I try to explain that you can´t control the whole team in real footie, and since PES/WE is a footie simulation you shouldn´t be able to control more than one player at the same time.
I agree though that player movements are not perfect in WE7/PES3, but at least they´re improved in WE7:I Jap, so lets hope Konami got the point

I'm not here recommending fifa over pes/we at all. But there are some ideas in FIFA that implemented correctly could work out nice in PES/WE.
