FIFA player...just played the WE8 demo...questions before i buy it

ive been playing fifa for forever now and i just got done playing the demo for WE8 and was pretty impressed. i played WE6 or 7 when it came out on ps2 but i wasnt impressed enough with the graphics to warrant a purchase. but now that the new one has great graphics, its got my attention again. i know the gameplay is good, but my main question is...

after i play one season in the master league, what then? is there incentive to play a second, third, etc. season? outside of the gameplay, are there unlockables, or trophies, or tournaments that you can get from playing multiple seasons with different teams? im looking for replay value seeing that my close friends arent huge soccer fans (football...or whatever you want to call it) so ill be going solo with this game 90% of the time. since theres no online play, the master league needs to hold my interest for multiple seasons. the gameplay is cool, but there needs to be something on top of that to keep me coming back...so is there? any help you can give would be great. thanks.

so you are saying that there is incentive to play the master league more besides just gameplay?

Hulkster mate, you get to buy and trade young players and train them to become superstars. Thats a good incentive. Plus the main idea, You got to love true football! Fifa can't give you that

oh okay thats cool....kinda like madden and march madness 2005 where you can draft guys. well thats pretty good. i was just reading some reviews and they didnt really say anything about what you do in the off season or whether or not you have any kind of goal outside of winning the cup.

i was watching some videos from the goal compliation section and the "dummy" moves are awesome. one thing i will say for fifa is that it has the presentation and the bells and whistles down, but for free flowing gameplay, WE has it beat. i just wish one or the other could get both right. let EA give WE the licenses, online play, and extras, and the it would be perfect. oh well, the game is pretty cool, so after watching the videos, i think im sold.

im off to trade in some old games for WE! yay.

yeah so i bought it, and its pretty sweet. the gameplay is very open...which is nice...but i have some questions.

it seems like the teams arent grouped together correctly when you are at the team select screen. theres only 4 different sections for teams???? i mean, you have the international stuff, but what about the other teams, i thought it had all of them. am i just retarded and im not seeing it? another question have is that i read that it didnt have the licenses for the EPL but yet when i play as Man. U i see all the names of the guys. so did they just not get the licenses for the team names? what exactly do i have to edit in order for it to look like the real deal? i know the stadiums are different and i need to edit the names of them, but what about the other teams.

Yeah fifa fans complain bout the licensing but all u need to do is go to edit mode and change the stadium and names of teams take a fair bit of time but it is worth it.

even though the game doesnt have licenses...it has most correct names...
to get everything just perfect you really need to patch the game..nothing can beat it once its patched...
scoring a 35 yard screamer with Baumjohann with F50+'s on just is the icing on top of the cake
the tricks are very cool as well mate...
just have shots from anywhere really and that will improve your accuracy quite a lot..
