Wait...
300 would be a cool game is done correctly. I would have the single player start with you as a child, learning the ways of the spartan. It would basically at this point be mainly RPG orientated, where you roam around the village, doing "RPG" stuff, then you have to learn basic hand to hand combat and stuff.

Then you'd move to your teenage years, and will have to learn how to use a sword and spear, learning more advance combat and strategies. After this, you'd be let out into the wilderness to fend for yourself with only a spear, having to kill wild animals for food, and find shelter. Once you've succeeded in surviving for a set amount of in-game days, you must then make your way back to the village, thus proving yourself as worthy of being a Spartan warrior. You're father then gives you your bronze armour, helmet and sword and says how proud he is of you, or something similarly corny.

You then zap 15 years into the future, where you're marching to the Pass of Thermopylae with the rest of the 300, and you are King Leonidas. Then there's a bunch of cinematic events and you are plunged straight into battle against the Persians, and you would have to basically fight all the battles in the movie throughout the game. The combat system would have to be good, maybe a bit like Assassins Creed, but improved upon, with the inclusion of strategic formations, like all the soldiers grouping together with they're shield above their heads and others.

Of coarse at the end you would die, but at the end of the game you're health bar would be flashing red and you'd be getting pummeled by arrows, but you go into and kind of invincible mode where you keep slaying Persians, one after another, until eventually some epic piece of music starts playing and you're vision becomes all blurry and saturated and you collapse, accompanied by a narrator finishing the tale of your last stand and how eventually the Spartans prevented the invasion of Greece by the Persians.

As for online play, of coarse the game would be capable of 300 player online, and basically you and your team mates are the 300, and you have to fight off wave after wave of Persians, each wave getting stronger. They start off with the shite warriors, but eventually the waves get stronger, and then you have to fight the immortals, and after that they bring in the rhinos, and then the elephants. There would be a set amount of waves, 50 or something, or maybe it would be designed that you can't actually win, you just have to survive for as long as you can.

is LOST
Well I'm watching Casino at the moment, if they turned that into a game were you played Pesci character that would be awesome. You could start out as a small time criminal and work your way to the top, then watch it fuck you in the arse.

Play Fable in the meantime. Haha.

I'd rather not say anything about your game. (get into game programming!)
