First aid sign in WE8

Having played an entire Serie A, I am beginning to notice that the injury system might have changed in WE8. Despite the first aid sign, the injured player can still play the entire match. I did not notice any deterioration in his performance. Could it be the injury was only minor. Then again, despite playing the entire season, I had never encountered a situation where I was deprived of a player due to injury.

Are there any major injury in WE8 where we cannot select the player for some
specific period of time like in WE7?

Yes, and it can be a hell of a long time, I had Kluivert out for 22 weeks ( basically all year) The new 'player going off and getting treated, then coming back on' feature is tops tho' - you really try to get a goal while the oppo is down to 10 men

the performance of an injured player who stays on the pitch does actually deteriorate with time.
if there`s a sequence where the injured player gets slowly up without the first aid after a foul (and the comments say `he should be fine...`) then his performance still will get worse after some time (usually it`s more visible in the 2nd half). if the injured player received a treatment outside and comes back in, it depends on whether he is still injured or his condition is back to normal again (check his arrow in the team settings after he come back on the pitch). if he`s still injured he`ll get worse, if not then you won`t see any deterioration on his performances. often when players come back with both legs bandaged you can bet that he`ll later on either vastly slow down in speed, strength or response. so actually it does make some sense when the comp is taking his injured players out after the injury.

one thing that i thought lacked in pes3 was the fact that there maybe should have been a few more injuries, and those should have varied from a week to a season out. I rarely getplayers missing from gamews, proberbly about 10 times only in a whole109 seasons in masterleague! maybe they should add a few more knocks

I had Tevez out for about 44 weeks, then I traded him to Inter for Adriano, then all of a sudden he could play again!

I had Eto'o out for 23 weeks and Giuly out for 20weeks ahH!!!!!

I had a player injured but just minor!! Then on field he is injured again!! Then it takes 20 weeks compare to the previous injury that just took 2 Weeks!!

i had Bellion injured badly right after he scored, prolly they thought he was 2 dangerous , and he was out for 7 weeks, then at the start of the 2nd half of the season, Giggs got injured and was out for the rest of the season, he was back in the last game and helped with an assist
